Double Standard

JMG posted this clip of Adam Lambert on CBS’s Early Show. In the segment, Early Show showed clips from Lambert’s performance at the AMAs, including a blurred shot ofhim kissing a male bandmate. In the same segment, CBS aired a clip of the infamous Madonna-Britney MTV kiss. Uncensored. Lambert discusses the double standard that exists and points out that no one minded Janet Jackson grabbing men’s crotches or some of the questionable lyrics sung by Eminem. Lambert holds his own quite well in this piece.

Mind you, on prime-time television, saintly Hilary Duff engaged in a threesome and a girl-on-girl kiss this season on the WB’s Gossip Girl. The equally saintly Hayden Panettiere also engaged in a lesbian kiss this season on NBC’s Heros. WTF?
