According to her website, Dolly Parton is playing South By Southwest March 14.
Her new album, “Backwood Barbie,” is due out in late February or early March on her own Dolly Records.
The SXSW appearance is part of the Backwoods Barbie tour, which kicks off Feb. 28 in Minneapolis, Minn.
Later this week my friends and I will celebrate Dolly Parton’s birthday at Remington’s with The Dolly Cultural Understanding and ‘Preciation Society (D-CU’PS).
